Women's Apex Cooling Hoodie - Trout

These are excellent shirts, both my partner and I have two each. Great for fishing and for mowing the lawns in the summer sun. Light, breathable, dry wicking. Excellent fit and and price. Would love to see some pink and black ones!

I actually love this so much this, is my second Apex hoody! Bought one about 2 years ago (dark Grey + black one) and wanted an additional lighter colored one for alpine work. Can attest to them being surprisingly durable and odor resistant even after continuous wear for days on end in heat with lots of sweat. Long sleeves and generous hood are epic sun protection. Great length and layer will. Stoked.

This is the perfect top for sun protection without being too hot and allows breathability.

I have to have the least sun on me I can for skin cancer reasons and this is part of my new seasons get up. Will be all year round as well. So far Spring and its just plain awesome. I can wear stuff over or under it and I'm still protected. I'm a 12-14 womens and its a perfect fit. Very cooling on hot days. Using it mainly hiking and walking dogs on beach . The hoodie keeps my hat from blowing off, gives extra protection round the neck and sides. Dont have to wash it much and it doesn't smell! So good to be protected and looking forward to summer. For someone who doesn't like long sleeves, hoods or synthetic fabrics but majorly overheats when tramping on hot days, this actually works! Was fantastic in the beating hot sun on the tops and comfortable to wear.

Bought this primarily to use as a sunshirt on the tops, the the lightweight fabric is really great when you get a sweat up, and the generous hood is mean for keeping the sun off ya neck. And, so far, odour free!! I've found with this style of clothing elsewhere the synthetic fabric can have a weird smell but this does not. Superb. Can imagine it'd be wicked for days on the boat too. Got an Apex Hoodie for Christmas, was a bit skeptical of long sleeves in Summer. Mate! Best fishing shirt ever! First time I’ve been on the boat and not been sunburnt! It was lightweight, cool and kept the searing sun off me.

Such a handy top anytime you're in the sun. It's pitched at the fishing market, but I took it to hike the Tongariro Crossing because it was so lightweight, and kept the sun off my neck. Love the cool-fabric feel and the fact it's so light. Good stretch for when you're getting active too.

I've been wearing this out on the kayak all summer. Honestly one of the best purchases I've made - I don't know how I ever did without it!

I didn't realise how much I needed this top until I spent a day on the boat in full sun. Not only did it protect me from getting sunburnt but it also kept me cool out on the water. Paired with the Apex Chill Tube, a Seabreeze Cap and some sunglasses and there was no way the sun was going to get me!

My husband and I own a Catana 42, and find protection from the sun is critical. Stuart was diagnosed with an aggressive sarcoma 4 years ago, and with radiation and surgery we are back out doing what we love. We each have a top, and a chill tube, and put them on in the morning and wear them all day. You do feel cooler wearing the top than not. Stuart has had lesions removed from his ears, so the hoodie feature is great and he wears a brim hat on top of that. You are not worrying all the time about putting on sunscreen

The Apex hoodie is my pick when out on the water. I find that the cooling fabric is perfect for those days when the sun is at full blast keeping me cool in the hot summer weather. When i'm baiting lines at the back of the boat the odor crunch aspect of the Apex hoodie comes in very handy, because it keeps away the smell of bait and fish so I can continue on the rest of my day not smelling fishy.
