I couldn’t have chosen a wetter day to test out this jacket, it was pouring down!
I started my hunt on daylight by pushing through wet scrub for 30 minutes and popped out in the open bush still dry as, right down to the bottom of the jacket.
The heavy rain persisted right through the day, making the bush dark, but I remained comfortable the whole time.
I pulled the trigger on a stag late in the afternoon, my boots were full of water and my leggings were soaked but the jacket had done it’s job, and my top under the jacket was only a little bit sweaty.
That’s not bad for a jacket that feels as light and comfortable as a jersey.
