The Long Bush Coat has been specifically designed and tested in New Zealand to maximise your experience during bush hunting, where you need to be adaptable to the environment, stalk quietly and be prepared for whatever mother nature throws at you.W: 1120gms /40oz | Waterproof MIN RATING: 10,000mm MAX RATING: 33,860mm (tested using the JIS L1092B standards)

Notes on Washing: To extend the life of the garment and for best performance, close all zips including pocket zips. Use a small amount of non-scented LIQUID detergent and gentle wash at a temperature below 40º Celsius. DO NOT use powder detergents, fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Powder detergents include artificial scents, UV brighteners and abrasives that will reduce the life of the garment. Warm tumble dry, or line dry after washing.

Care after every use: Clean or wipe down any dirt, blood, or sweat. Ensure your rainwear layer is fully DRY before you store it away. Ensure that the environment where you store your garments is in a dry damp-free place. Ensure rainwear items are hanging up and not stored in a cram bag or screwed up in a heap.

Durable Water Repellency (DWR): If you notice that the water is not beading off the outer surface it’s time to replenish the DWR. Wash your garment through a standard wash cycle (use liquid detergent), then you can wash it again using an in-wash DWR replenisher (at 30°C) OR a spray on DWR replenisher. Dry the garment at a LOW temperature in a tumble dryer or air dry.

The Long Bush Coat is constructed from a technical 3 layer fabric which has a tightly brushed outerface (to help keep the noise down when stalking) along with a Hydrophillic membrane. This membrane is also breathable to help reduce heat build up. Waterproof MIN RATING: 10,000mm MAX RATING: 33,860mm (tested using the JIS L1092B standards)

Thanks to an advanced Hydrophillic membrane, the Long Bush Coat blocks 100% of wind and water. Meaning that when the weather takes a turn for the worst, you’ll be warm, dry and can focus on the task at hand.

100% Seam Sealed

To meet the 100% waterproof criteria here at Stoney Creek, the garment needs to be 100% seam sealed. This seam sealing provides extra protection to the seam stitching and gives you confidence that your Long Bush Coat is built to perform.

100% waterproof, 100% windproof, 100% seam sealed and durable. Hydrotough is a technical 3-layer fabric. Tightly brushed outer face will keep the noise down. Treated with Teflon™ DWR, 10,000mm (ASTM) Hydrophillic membrane is breathable to reduce heat build up Ciba® antimicrobial treated nylon tricot lining helps to inhibit bacterial growth.

Picked this up at Fieldays this past year, and I have thoroughly appreciated having this coat! Great in any amount of rain, and the chest pocket is perfect because it is quite spacious, allowing you to have multiple items available for easy access out in the bush.

Had this jacket for 2 years now and have definitely put it through its passes! Best waterproof jacket I've come across to keep you warm and dry. Good large pockets all around and still packs down reasonably small for those longer walks. Highly recommend!

I've had my long bush coat for over 3 years and it's performance is head and shoulders over everything else I've had. It' bulletproof! In all weathers it's been totally waterproof and also extremely breathable and not clammy, unlike some of the expensive sweat bags I've had. It's also long enough to sit on. It's still in perfect condition, all taped seams still perfect. It's not until you use something that you appreciate its features, When I put my thermal in the vertical chest pocket its weight closes the pocket unlike a horizontal pocket which flops open. The shoulder bubbles really do keep your rifle in place!, It's something you don't really notice until you later carry your rifle when wearing a jacket without them! lastly I really like the big front lower pocket. Being able to warm your hands together inside it when in a high seat is really useful.

Awesome coat for wearing hunting or around the farm extremely tough.
