Armadillo 1 Man Tent

Have owned a number of tents over the years and believe this one would have to be the best all round. A little on the heavy side but stands up to some pretty strong winds and snow that I’ve had other tents fail in. 1.5 is great size if your suck in bad wether for 2-3 days as room to move and stays dry as don’t seem to get condensation drip or heavy frost drip when sun comes out. Easy to assemble and take down and great if it’s raining as you can remove inner first and keep it dry. Have had mine now for 4 years and it’s still going strong from altitude to bush.

Great tent. Have used for over 30 nights in the bush and on the north island kaimanawa/national park tops. Light and compact in the pack, but plenty of room for me and my 30kg Viszla at night. The vestible at the front is enough room to keep your pack and boots out of the weather. Warm and waterproof, and quick drying. The pegs are awesome. This tent is easy as to put up by yourself and quick, which means you can push your days that little bit longer without stressing around where you are going to set up camp. Best 1 man 4 seasons tent ive ever used.

Great little tent. I took the dog with me the first night and after getting out to check on the possum status in the small hours he was back in my sleeping bag and had to be got out. We both had a warm night however, nice and snug.
