The Black Stag 800 is suitable for a wide range of hunting adventures and is designed for all season fly camping conditions. Being the optimal balance between maximum warmth within a lightweight and compact form factor, the 800 is our most versatile sleeping bag in the Black Stag range and features a centralised full length zip and a tapered shape to give you or maximum warmth and comfort when camping out in the hills. It is filled with a 650 CUI high insulation down fill which gives great warmth-to-weight ratio. Weight: 1400 gms / 49oz

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Cleaning: Close the zip and turn it inside out to protect the water resistant shell.
Hand wash gently using mild soap (not detergent) or a down specific cleaning product. Take extra care with the bag when wet, supporting it's weight from underneath. (We recommend hand washing in a bath).
Rinse serveral times, gently pressing the water out until clear.
For best results, we recommend air drying. Lie sleeping bag flat on top of a towel, once the sleeping bag has time to partially dry, hang outside to complete drying process. Warm, windy comditions are best to air dry. Do not leave to dry in direct sunlight as exposure to sun will damage the nylon outer layer.

Storage: Store loosely in the mesh bag provided, as it will retain it's loft better.
Do not store in the cram bag for long periods and only use the compression straps when travelling.
Air dry, inside out after each use.

WARNING - Flammable protect from intense heat or naked flame.

After close to 20 years my old black stag sleeping back is still the business!! The warmth is fantastic, so much so that I have honestly only ever needed to zip it totally up once (live in the BOP)!!

After following the cleaning and drying instructions, the down has come out of some of the stitched baffled areas, resulting in excess down in some areas, and no down in other areas. Always risky washing down, but I wouldn't have thought the down would move between the stitching. Initially I loved my Black Stag 800, now I am really disappointed.

Very satisfied with this product. I have used this sleeping bag in the middle of winter and now just recently the start of summer. I definately reccomend this product to anyone who loves to experience nights in the outdoors at any time of the year. Very comfortable and easy to pack.

The Black Stag 800 is a very warm all seasons sleeping bag. I have used in all 4 seasons with it holding up well during winter in tents and also being great having center zip as in summer can open up and just lay in center of bag. Great length in sleeping bag, I am 6 ft 2” and can easily sink down into sleeping bag to keep warm, packs away nice and small with compression straps bring overall volume down well. Nice and light for backpack hunting.
