Welded baffles enhance the Thermolite’s water resistance, and when combined with its advanced DWR coating, will actively repel snow, rain, dirt and blood.

Fabric Technology

Constructed from advanced materials, the Thermolite Fabric has been nicknamed the ‘Tougher Puffer’ for a number of reasons.
Firstly, it’s Polyester Knit outer is treated with an advanced DWR coating to actively repel water, blood and dirt. A 100% Windproof TPU membrane provides enhanced weather resistance.
Inside, the Thermolite is packed with a Primaloft® Silver Down Blend and this is the key to the Jacket’s superior warmth-to-weight ratio.
A thermal lining helps to maintain crucial warmth when its needed most, and also reduces friction between layers when taking the Thermolite on and off.

How to Measure

(Body Measurements)

Our Size Charts are of ‘Body Measurements’ not garment measurement. To determine what size you fall into ensure to measure against your body. It is best to ask another to help so that you can assume a natural standing position. When using the measuring tape it is important not to pull tight on the tape, the tape should be without tension and sit comfortably against the body. For a natural measurement one finger should be under the tape, this allows for ‘ease and natural movement’ see Figure.1 below

When we design our clothing we do take into consideration how you will be wearing the garment. For example a winter rainwear jacket you would be wearing insulating layers underneath so the size of the jacket accommodates this. So you won’t need to purchase a size up.

Sizing chart is a used as a guide only for body measurements. Individual products may vary slightly. Not all sizes are available in all styles. For more information, please CONTACT US

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Notes on Washing: To extend the life of the garment and for best performance, use a small amount of non-scented LIQUID detergent. DO NOT use powder detergents, fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Powder detergents include artificial scents, UV brighteners and abrasives that will reduce the life of the garment.

Care after every use: Clean or wipe down any dirt, blood, sweat. Ensure your rainwear layer is fully DRY before you store it away. Ensure that the environment where you store your garments is in a dry damp-free place. Ensure rainwear items are hanging up and not stored in a cram bag or screwed up in a heap.

Durable Water Repellency (DWR): If you notice that the water is not beading off the outer surface it’s time to replenish the DWR. Wash your jacket through a standard wash cycle (use liquid detergent), then you can wash it again using an in-wash DWR replenisher (at 30°C) OR a spray on DWR replenisher. Dry the garment at a LOW temperature in a tumble dryer or air dry.
