The key to the Settlers Overtrousers ultra-tough performance is in it’s AG Tough fabric. This advanced 3-layer fabric actively repels water, keeping the outer layer dryer and cleaner. The inner membrane blocks 100% of water and wind whilst still being able to breath. It’s inner mesh lining helps to protect the membrane and has been Ciba® Antimicrobial treated to prohibit unwanted bacteria growth.

To meet the 100% waterproof criteria here at Stoney Creek, the garment needs to be 100% seam sealed. This seam sealing provides extra protection at the vulnerable seam stitching and gives you confidence that your Settlers Jacket is built to perform.

Ag Tough boast an ultra-tough 320D x 160D nylon exterior which has been 80/20 DWR coated to repel against water, mud and dirt.
But don’t be fooled, we’ve balanced this toughness with exceptional breathability, convenient features and a performance fit that will keep you comfortable and focussed on the task at hand.

How to Measure (Body Measurements)
Our Size Charts are of ‘Body Measurements’ not garment measurement. To determine what size you fall into ensure to measure against your body. It is best to ask another to help so that you can assume a natural standing position. When using the measuring tape it is important not to pull tight on the tape, the tape should be without tension and sit comfortably against the body. For a natural measurement one finger should be under the tape, this allows for ‘ease and natural movement’ see Figure.1 below When we design our clothing we do take into consideration how you will be wearing the garment. For example a winter rainwear jacket you would be wearing insulating layers underneath so the size of the jacket accommodates this. So you won’t need to purchase a size up.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

To maintain top performance of your Stoney Creek garment we recommend a regular warm washing at 40 degrees (inside out) with a non-powdered laundry detergent (Sports Wash recommended) and occasional warm tumble dry, right side out. A warm wash assists in killing bacteria and the warm drying for 20 minutes revives the fabric and rejuvenates the DWR and the Teflon coating ensuring going performance. NB: Powdered detergents have UV brightness visible to animals. We recommend reapplying DWR every two years. It is not recommended to store your garment damp, wet and scrunched.
