The worst waterproof jacket yet for the dairy farm. Leaked within a couple of wears in rain, shoulders were soaked. Sent back to be told there's nothing wrong and I must've been sweating! Total waste of $400.
Awesome jacket …. Been wearing it in some pretty torrential rain lately and never leaked and keeps you warm but not too hot.
Best jacket I’ve ever bought soo warm and feels great on I don’t want to take it off till the end of winter.
From my time walking the hills and bush of Hawkes Bay and Taranaki doing pest control, hunting the Ruahines, Kawekas and Ureweras to now fencing and general farm work I've been through quite a few different jackets and I honestly love the Tempest better than anything previously owned. It's light enough that you don't notice wearing a big hefty wind and rain breaker yet it's still very good at doing exactly that. The zip-up chest pocket inside the button flap is an awesome idea as well as the neoprene cuffs actually being set back inside the sleeve so they don't cop the brunt of the weather. I've found this jacket to be less noisy pushing through scrub etc hunting than my previous kaiwaka jacket and it seems to be holding up to the blackberry and gorse it's been attacked with a lot better than expected. By that I mean the little fluffy threads and fibres haven't started poking out and it's still keeping water at bay. Even once soaking wet, whipping the sleeves inside out and hanging it arms spread it typically dries the inside completely overnight, which I can't say I've had another jacket do without being near a fire. All in all, I'm definitely pleased with it and if I was a richer man I'd buy a whole lot more of your products to make the winter a bit more bearable. Cheers guys
Excellent features, dry, warm, tough.
