I rate all of my Stoney Creek gear highly. It is good gear. The Big Dog is great, it is so versatile, easy to get on and off. Excellent at keeping the wind at bay too. Every hunter should have one of these. My son has one too and it is great at the beach on windy days.

It had been awhile since i had been out hunting so my stoney creek big dog had spent many days hanging in the wardrobe, it wasn't until recently i headed out with friends and a pack to go pig hunting, within 45minutes the dogs got a boar and it was me on the first carry the boar went 104 and the thickness and quality of the big dog definitely helped me on my first carry in awhile, being a woman with long hair the hood helped too. During late December it was all i needed to wear for an early morning hunt but still kept me warm and wore up until we headed out around midday after nabbing a second boar, the front zip pocket and the chest pocket helps keep the essentials secure. I would highly recommend this piece to be a staple in your hunting kit.
