Molesworth Roar Hunt with Buller 60L. We managed to secure a ballot block over Easter and 4 of us walked into our block. Two of us had new Buller 60L packs and they were great. The front flap is perfect for a small day bag and closed cell foam seat, the pack is big enough for a 7 day hunt. Our packs weighed in at 26kg fully loaded (Including rifles) and they held up great, they can be used as a day hunt bag if needed. It was easy to adjust the waist belt and shoulder straps to fit me better. Looking forward to our next hike/hunt and this will be the only large pack I use from now on. Thanks.
Great pack for longer trips , fits well and plenty of room for meat.
Awesome hunting pack. Can be used as a comfortable day pack, or turned into a multi day trip pack with heaps of room as well as lots of pockets/external storage areas.
Very well thought out pack. Used this on a number of 5 day back pack hunts. I had ample room with 5 days food, rain jacket, hoodie, vest, socks x 4, 3lt water, Spare set of clothes, tent, tarp and the list goes on. You could easily go for 7 days with this pack. The pack carries very well empty and loaded. Having external cordage to carry tarps, bedding etc definitely helps free up space internally for valuables like cameras and drones.
Overall it’s a very well thought out pack with pouches and attachment points in all the right spots.
I have used this pack a lot and have found it to be the perfect size for a multi day backpack hunt. The extra 10L is very useful for carrying out your harvest or to bring along extra bits and pieces. It is easily adjustable too, so you can set it up perfectly for your body shape. Its well built and I can see me hammering it for a number of years to come.
