At Stoney Creek it is our mission to maximise your experience. Through the good and the bad, we’ve always been here to help you weather the storm.

Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation here in New Zealand and our government’s announcement raising the alert to Level 4, we here at Stoney Creek have been approved as providing essential services and are an integral part of the supply chain providing essential clothing and equipment to help protect our primary industries (dairy, meat and horticulture production – and their supply chains) as well as the many of our B2B customer’s businesses that require PPE and workwear.

Both these industries are relying on their availability to wet weather and insulation clothing in order to continue to protect their staff and allow them to operate their essential services during these crucial times. This is of particular importance due to the current situation and the country’s reliance on these essential services, and is further heighted as we head into the colder seasons ahead and the weather continues to deteriorate.

During alert Level 4 here in New Zealand, our team are continuing to operate and we are putting in place alternative ways of working to keep our employees safe in strict accordance with the MBIE guidelines. This includes the majority of staff all working from home and/or taking flexible leave arrangements. For bare minimum of staff function who are operating out of our warehouse facilities, we have implemented monitored shift-based working, physical distancing, enhanced hygiene and protective clothing for all staff required to work at our warehouse and product distribution facilities.

To ensure the continued supply of Stoney Creek clothing and equipment we will continue supply to our retail partners and online services direct to our B2B customers, whom have been authorised and approved to be operating as essential services. To any non-essential businesses and customers, you can still place orders however shipping is delayed until the Level 4 alert is removed. We will keep all our customers updated as this situation evolves or if there are any changes in this area. Please bear in mind that due to the evolving COVID-19 situation that there may will likely be some delays in all deliveries, and are working closely with our courier and freight partners to ensure the delivery of these products continues as normal. Throughout the supply chain, all our partners are implementing enhanced protocols around the collection, distribution and deliveries of all packages to ensure that any potential risk is minimised and the overall safety of staff and customers. As the level 4 alert affects the majority of New Zealanders and the businesses in our communities, we also ask that you consider and support your local outdoor stores during this period where possible. If you are considered an essential business and require our products during this period, during the checkout process you will have the option to ‘Choose to support your local store’. This is a way that we can give back to our valued Stoney Creek retail partners, and ensure that their businesses, their staff and their local communities continue to benefit from the online sale of Stoney Creek products.

We are committed to ensuring that our communities stay safe, warm and protected throughout these challenging times, and we are working closely throughout our entire supply chain to ensure that we can continue to deliver essential supplies. Understandably, COVID-19 in an unprecedented situation that we are all faced with, and has and will continue to evolve over the coming days, weeks and months. We have created these FAQ’s that are based around what we know today and the advice/authorisation we have received from MBIE and the Government’s COVID-19 Response Team.

Is Stoney Creek an essential business?

Yes, on the 29/03/20 we at Stoney Creek received confirmation that our business has been accepted as providing essential services. We will continue supply to our retail partners and online services direct to our B2B customers, whom have been authorised and approved to be operating as essential services. What Stoney Creek products are considered essential and what products can I order?

Retail and B2B businesses, whom have been authorised and approved to be operating as essential services, can continue to order their usual Stoney Creek products from us and we will supply as usual. Please contact your Stoney Creek representative or contact our team at admin@stoneycreek.co.nz with your account detail. Online purchases made at www.stoneycreek.co.nz will be restricted only to essential clothing and equipment that is required to perform these essential services (e.g. Rural Clothing, Hi Vis/Safety and PPE equipment).

I am not an essential business, but have been browsing your website and would like to purchase some products. Can I still order?

Yes, everyone can still browse and order Stoney Creek products online, however if you are not classified as an essential business during level 4, we will not be able to ship your order until the level 4 restrictions have been removed.
